Description
Eoin McKiernan belongs to history, especially to Irish-American history. He founded with his wife Jeannette and philanthropist Patrick Butler, the IRish American Cultural Institute (IACI) in 1962, inSt. Paul, MInnesota. Shortly after that, he founded Irish Books andMedia, which was for forty years the largest distributor of Irish printed material in the US, continued for some time after his death by his daughter Ethna. Eoin was involved in peace conferences in Ireland.
