A CD from Maurice Bradley is long overdue and a cause for celebration. The
County Derry man has long been known throughout the country and beyond as a consummate musician with an enormous repertoire and a highly-
informed appreciation of good music.
The wait has been worthwhile. This CD is a blast from the heart of the
tradition. It features a wonderful selection of tunes, many of them rarely
heard, delivered in great style by Maurice on pipes and fiddle. As you migh
expect, the accompaniment is perfectly judged, coming from his
friends Ciaran Kelly on bouzouki/guitar and, from Cape Breton, Melissa
Emmons on piano.
