Description
Céadalbam iomráiteach Eithne Ní Uallacháin, Gerry O’Connor agus Desi Wilkinson a eisíodh ar fhadcheirnín sa bhliain 1987, anois ar fáil ar dhlúthdhiosca den chéad uair! Canann Eithne ceithre amhrán ón traidisiún inar tógadh í agus tugann na ceoltóirí blaiseadh den fhómhar fairsing a bhí cruinnithe acu um an dtaca sin.
Ar an albam seo, cloistear binneas aoibhinn i nglór Eithne agus í ag ceol amhráin óna dúchas. Cailleadh Eithne go hanabaí i 1999. Tá clú agus cáil bainte amach ag Gerry O’Connor ar an bhfidil. Béal Feirsteach é Desi Wilkinson a sheineann ar fhliúteanna éagsúla agus ar an fheadóg stáin.
First released in 1987, this classic album features music from Oirialla in County Louth and farther afield. It is now available on CD for the first time. The exquisite vocals of Eithne Ní Uallacháin are paired with the dynamic playing of Gerry O’Connor on fiddle and Desi Wilkinson on flute and tin whistle. Cosa gan Bhróga the auspicious debut album of all three artists, remains a testimony to their artistry and craft.
