Genevieve Galarneau is a painter, folklorist, and sean-nós singer living in Donegal.
Her paintings reflect a close relationship to the natural world.
Since relocating to Donegal from the forests of Oregon and Washington, she has
started to get to know her new home through painting the wildlife (past and present) of Ireland.
In this series, she marries her love of the natural world with her commitment to the Irish-Language community.
