Séamas Ó Grianna or Máire, wrote two autobiographies: Nuair a bhí mé Óg and Saoghal Corrach. The two books are self-portraits of the author that is a study of the mind, outlook and personality of Maire as he himself described it. The author also explains why we should consider Máire as one of the most important writers in the Irish language.
