This is a four paged, laminated “fold-over” card, A4 in size. It comprises 16 trails (12 school-based and 4 home-based) for your students. Each trail has 20 meaningful questions covering each of the 5 strands of the maths curriculum: Number, Algebra, Shape and Space, Measures and Data. The card highlights the huge use we make of number in our everyday lives and how maths surrounds us even in the most unusual of places. This card does not require a workbook. It comes with a photocopiable answer sheet template along with a product guide.
A Maths Trail is an activity based assingnment that can take place within the classroom, within the school building, in the school yard or in the locality. Trails give pupils a chance to experience maths in the real world, each trail highlights for them the huge use we make of numbers in our everyday lives and how maths surrounds us in even the most unusual areas.
Suitable for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class students in primary schools.
Suitable for 1st year to Junior Certificate students in secondary schools
